Recently, fast dissolving drug delivery systems has become one of the popular and acceptable drug delivery systems, because of their ease of administration and better patient compliance. This novel drug delivery system can also be beneficial for the enhancement of bioavailability of drugs. Fast dissolving films (FDFs) have attracted interest as an excellent dosage form, not only for oral care, but also for patients with aphasia or dysphasia. They can be taken with ease at any time by the patient without requiring any water for swallowing.
