The present book introduces both theoretical and practical aspects of vibrations and stability of smart structures. Boron nitride nanotubes due to its unique properties including excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal conductivity and chemical properties and more resistance to oxidation than other conventional nano-materials have been widely attracted by researchers in different fields of chemistry, physics and engineering. In the past two decades, application of boron nitride nanotubes as smart material in science and technology has been constantly on the rise for example as nano-switches, transistors or other nano/micro-electro-mechanical systems (NEMS & MEMS). In this regards, we have investigated mechanical behavior of coupled and uncoupled systems containing flow fluid. We hope this book offers the insight into readers and to be of use in design and manufacturing of smart NEMS & MEMS devices in advanced medical applications such as drug delivery systems with great applications in biomechanics.
