A native Texan, Wanda Strange lives with her husband, Kerry, in Bluff Dale, Texas. Married since 1969, they are the parents on an adult daughter, Ginger. Though Wanda retired in 2016, a career in oncology nursing remains her life's work and professional calling. She continues to be actively involved in the local and national Oncology Nurse Society. Her passion for patients and caregivers inspires her to encourage cancer patients, their families, and oncology colleagues. Her faith provides motivation to participate in community and church activities. She passionately pursues time with family and friends. The love of family stimulates a desire to research and disseminate the stories of her parents, grandparents, and extended family.
