Winifred Bragg, MD is an expert in providing nonsurgical treatment for injuries and pain resulting from spinal and orthopedic conditions. She has treated thousands of patients successfully by providing a comprehensive approach to their pain by using customized treatment plans. A nationally recognized speaker, Dr.Bragg has appeared in numerous TV and print media programs and has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX. She has been quoted as an expert in Redbook ("The New Way to Beat Back Pain"); Women's World ("Get Rid of Backache for Good"); Weight Watchers's Magazine ("Back on Track"); Newark Sunday Star-ledger ("To Your Health: Oh, Her Aching Back; and Self-Magazine ("A Pain in the Back"). She is board certified both in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Dr.Bragg received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, her medical degree from Meharry Medical College, and completed an internship at the Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. She completed her residency training at the University of Michigan. Additionally, she competed an internship in the Office of the United States Surgeon General. She is the Medical Director of the Spine and Orthopedic Pain Center and has offices in Norfolk and Chesapeake, Virginia.
