Er absolvierte ein Post-Doc-Studium über die Arbeit von Muhammad Abduh an der Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia. Später war er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization.
