The Unified Health System (SUS) is a training ground for human resources. Teaching and learning must therefore be the subject of good management practices, with a view to effectively bringing together two major forces: health services and the teaching/research/extension tripod. Faced with the need to standardize the process of placing psychology students in a tertiary hospital in the state of Ceará, this book presents Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that designate the stages of the process, from the request by the Higher Education Institution (HEI) to the end of the internships. This is a product of the specialization course in Education and Health for SUS preceptors, made possible by the Ministry of Health (SUS Institutional Development Program - PROADI SUS), developed by the Sírio Libanês Hospital and carried out in Ceará by the state School of Public Health. This interdisciplinary postgraduate course, based on active methodologies, provided the opportunity for this application project, drawn up by eight professionals from different areas who worked together on this problem-issue, integrating the knowledge, experiences and methodologies worked on during the course.
