Development of insecticide resistance in S. litura is one of the major obstacles for the profitable cultivation of vegetables and commercial crops. Dr. Sanjay Patil is currently working as Assistant Professor of Agricultural Entomology, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, (M.S.) India. He has completed Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Entomology and also qualified ASRB NET examination. He has awarded with Krishi Ratna in Agriculture.He has published 31 Research papers in reputed journals.
