Kanchan Bisht erwarb 2010 ihren Master-Abschluss in landwirtschaftlicher Entomologie an der GBPUAT, Pantnagar, Indien, und arbeitete als Assistenzprofessorin (HOD) in der Abteilung für Landwirtschaft am Sai Institute of Paramedical and Allied Sciences, Dehradun. Dr. R.P. Srivastava ist derzeit Fakultätsmitglied in der Abteilung für landwirtschaftliche Entomologie an der GBPUAT, Pantnagar.
