Nursing interns from two renown Kenyan universities using the two distinct training approaches were chosen to participate in the study. Moi university nursing interns went through innovative whereas University of Nairobi ones went through conventional training approaches respectively. The perception of supervisors for the interns was also sort for in the Level five hospitals where the internship was taking place.

Ha conseguito la laurea in Scienze dell'educazione nel 1998 presso l'Università Egerton, in Kenya. Nel 2002 ha conseguito un Master of Philosophy in Psicologia dell'educazione presso la Moi University, Kenya. Infine, nel 2015 ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in Educazione medica presso la Moi University. Attualmente insegna alla Moi University - Kenya, Scuola di Educazione.
