Produktbeschreibung
This research aims to understand how in a society some of its members are willing to die to leave it. It is based on the theory of recognition developed by Axel Honneth in order to stimulate reflection and explore the relationship between clandestine emigration - Harga - and recognition as a relationship with others. Today, the primary objective of young Tunisians is to leave an experienced reality for another imagined or even fantasized one. For young Tunisians, the imagined reality is merely an instrument for achieving their projects and a tool for forging their identity. Through observations, semi-directive interviews with ex-harragas, articles and books devoted to the study of migration phenomena, this research documents the relationship between "clandestine emigration, recognition and the migration policy adopted by the EU".
