If I Pray To God for Chocolate, Will He Answer? is a most delightful book that explores the question of belief in the power of prayer on a child's pure and simple level. It encourages little ones everywhere to continue believing, inspires slightly older readers to pray with the innocence of a child, and perhaps it will even touch the hearts of a few adults. Using situations from a child's everyday life, the author seeks to reassure her little readers that God is always on the journey with them. 'And He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them and blessed them.' (Mark 10:16)

Autorenporträt
Marion is an emerging children's book author and stay-at-home mom. She currently resides in the great state of Texas with her husband Dan Bankhead and daughter Alexis. As a child, Marion always had a tenacious love for literature and even though she's now grown up, her fascination with tales of romance, faraway destinations, and princesses in castles hasn't wavered. In addition to being the founder of the non-profit organization Mothers of Only Children (MOCs), she volunteers with the Houston Read Commission to help spread the joy and privilege of reading throughout her community. In this book, she explores the question of faith and prayer in a way suitable for children, encouraging her littlest fans to continue believing, and reminding her older fans to always pray with the innocent faith of a child.
