We report on the specific anatomical and clinical features of hepato-cholecal biliary lithiasis in Vietnam. Ascarid migration into the biliary tract is the cause of gallstone formation, biliary tract infestation aggravated by suppurative angiocholitis, complicated by angiocholitic abscesses, tropical haemobilia, acute oedematous pancreatitis and endotoxic shock with a very severe prognosis.
