Khafizova Zimfira Barievna was born in 1952 in the city of Andijan, Republic of Uzbekistan. In 1969 she graduated from secondary school. From 1970 to 1978 she graduated from SAMPI in Tashkent. From 1982 to 1989 passed residency in the Andijan State Medical Institute at the Department of Pediatrics. From 1984 to 1987 at the same department she underwent postgraduate studies.
