Julie Feldman, MPH, RD, traveled her own path to arrive in the field of nutrition and dietetics. As an overweight child, she began a health transformation at the age of 12. Now, as a practicing dietitian for the past 13 years, she continues on her journey, educating and empowering both children and adults on their own quests to better health.

Julie graduated from the University of Michigan in 1996 and went on to U of M's School of Public Health to obtain her MPH degree in Human Nutrition. Julie works in her own private practice based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where she provides counseling and consulting services to individuals, families, teams, and corporations. She thoroughly enjoys spreading the message of sound nutrition, appearing frequently on television and in print as a nutrition expert.

Julie currently lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan, with her husband and three children. She practices what she preaches, enjoying daily exercise, cooking often, and participating in many forms of physical activity with her kids. Her children love that she is a dietitian, except when she says they cannot have ice cream two nights in a row.
