Hurricanes have a very different wind profile and distribution to storms, and significantly higher precipitation levels. The storm had an air pressure equal to that of a Category 3 hurricane, and wind speeds equal to a Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale.
