It is, therefore suggested that formaldehyde treatment of GNC (@ 1.0 g/100 g CP) should be taken up by the feed industry on a commercial scale for manufacturing bypass protein, as the feeding of treated groundnut cake proved beneficial in improving growth rate and milk production.
