Teaching writing skills is notlinked with acquiring language skills rather it is exam oriented. Tasks that were designed to practice writing skills do not match with student's prior knowledge and learning do not motivate students to ward learning writing skill. So, there were no rooms for practicing writing skill within this time frame. Teachers guide does not seem to guide teachers to teach writing properly. The writing tasks do not have continuity across different chapters in content and complexity. Since, the tasks in the students' textbook and teacher's guide lack uniformity, it is better to make prompt revision to avoid further confusion, because, teaching writing skills is not linked with acquiring language skills rather it is exam oriented, teachers skip over the writing section in the students' textbook because it doesn't appear in the final, and matriculation exam. In one period, students are compelled to learn more than two different sections; there were no rooms for practicing writing skill within this time frame. So, it is better to give due attention at a time to a writing skill and since teachers' guide is confusing teachers rather than guiding them to teach properly
