This study examined the extent of drug abuse among secondary school students. It also examined the type of drugs abused by secondary school students in Ondo State, why secondary school students in Ondo State take to drugs, consequences of drug abuse as well as the role of school counselor in the prevention of drug abuse. Based on its findings, the study recommended improvement of students ability to evaluate the benefits as well as the risks involved in taking any drug, training of more guidance counsellors and the need for government to enforce a stricter system of drug control.
