JOSIE VALDERRAMA, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist based in San Francisco. Her focus encompasses ethical non-monogamy, anxiety, spirituality, and working with fellow LGBTQ+ people and people of color. She contributed as a subject matter expert to the 2022 revision of the California Psychology Law and Ethics Examination. Dr. Valderrama is a founding member of Bay Area Open Minds, a therapist network affirming sexual and gender diversity. She mentors and supervises future colleagues at the Liberation Institute. In addition to ACT, Dr. Valderrama draws upon feminist, multicultural, and trancework approaches.
