The implementation of the LMD system in Algeria reflects the urgent need to prepare the new generation to be able to face requirements of the labor market.The research sample was selected in a nonrandom manner which may help in claiming the study efficiency. This study seeks to explore the achievements of the Algerian university in the light of the new LMD system (BA, Master- PhD) at the Department of Arabic Language and Literature Faculty of Arts and Languages at the University of Tlemcen. Informants are those who are enrolled as second-year students in fourth semester 2012-2013. The results reveal that psychological factors among any other contribute and affect achievement process of university student in general. In the field of human sciences, the student is considered as an important member of society and should pay attention to him and help him through various moral and physical facilities to achieve his objectives in accordance to updated demands of modern society either positively or negatively. Therefore, we need to take several steps to guide students towards the right path that are as follows: Prepare students for university environment, to inform them on issues involvement.
