This study aimed to evaluate job satisfaction of midwives working in hospitals affiliated with Abadan school of Medical Sciences in 2016. This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on all midwives working in hospitals of Abadan School of Medical Sciences. The results of this study suggest that authorities can take positive and effective steps by promoting occupational security, creating professional standards as well as using professional capabilities of midwives in building appropriate relationship with colleagues and addressing the main causes of low satisfaction within scope of their jobs.

Fariba Khavayet, née le 17 juillet 1978 à Abadan, Iran. Elle est titulaire d'un diplôme de sage-femme et d'une maîtrise en santé génésique de l'université des sciences médicales d'Ahwaz Jundishapur (2013). Son activité éducative et professionnelle a débuté en tant que prestataire de soins de santé en 2004, puis en tant que sage-femme dans les centres de santé et d'accouchement de l'hôpital de Taleghani.
