This thesis mainly aims at the phenomenological exposition of the YogaPhilosophy by Mahari¿i P¿tañjali which he used to elaborate the true nature of pur¿¿aand prakriti separately and in order to find out the possibilities of liberation of pur¿¿awhich he entitled Kaivalya. During this work we came to know that before presentingthe solutions of all human problems Mahari¿i P¿tañjali starts with the investigation ofthe true nature and seeds of human problems. This true nature and seeds are there inthe s¿¿khya philosophy and that was the key point where the phenomenologicalexposition of yoga philosophy could be short out. The thesis is structured in such away that we progress step by step starting from the introductory support of YogaPhilosophy, through the possible sources of phenomenological background and to thegoal that what are the possibilities and impossibilities to expose the true nature andcorrect techniques of Yoga Practices.Philosophical investigations are a kind of individual investigations into thearguments which have been given already. We know that philosophy has no objects ofexperiments therefore we have our focus only on the arguments which are tried to beconcluded according to the logic. But we know that every philosophical theory isinfluenced by its own nature and attributes of the related philosopher therefore in thebeginning of the work we have presented a sketch of Yogas¿tra and its fundamentals.
