Advancing her nursing career, Deborah graduated with a Master's of Nursing from Georgia State University in 1994 and was credentialed as a nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has worked regularly with underserved populations as a nurse practitioner since that time. Judd has been involved in a number of outcome studies associated with direct patient care has presented at many national forums. Additionally, she has been involved in curriculum development and teaching in the areas of professionalism, nursing history, theory, and research.
