Der Kletterführer von Chris Craggs und Alan James ist zwar in Englisch verfasst, aber die Einleitung mit der Erklärung der Felssymbole ist auch auf Deutsch vorhanden, und die Anfahrts- und Routenbeschreibungen sind mit Englischgrundkenntnissen locker zu verstehen. Der Aufbau und die Aufteilung des Führers sind wirklich gelungen, und der Umfang - es werden 40 Klettergebiete mit teils hervorragend abgesicherten Sportkletterrouten in den unterschiedlichsten Schwierigkeitsgraden, aber auch sehr alpinen Mehrseillängenrouten vorgestellt - lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wir sind mit dem stabilen Guide mit den praktischen Foto-Topos und kurzen, aber präzisen Routenbeschreibungen jedenfalls bestens zurechtgekommen. In der Neuauflage fehlen einige „alte“ Gebiete, weshalb sich ein Blick auf die hervorragende Verlagswebsite www.rockfax.com lohnt, wo ein ergänzender Miniguide zum Download bereitsteht. Außerdem gibt es auf der Seite auch ein Forum von Kletterern mit topaktuellen Beschreibungen der Routen, was z.B. bei MSL-Routen sehr sinnvoll ist - wie wir feststellen mussten, sind einige Standplätze in der Zwischenzeit wieder abgebaut worden.
