This document examines Reger'sperformance style at the piano based on newspaperreviews, witness reports, and letters describing hispianism. It also provides a general introduction tothe Telemann Variations, a musical analysis of eachvariation, and a new edition. The appendicesinclude a list of Reger's personal piano performancerepertoire, piano compositions, and piano rollrecordings.
