Man erlebt den Aufstieg, den Fall und die "Wiederauferstehung" eines Rockstars, der als Bassist (und Gründungsmitglied) mit Guns N' Roses weltberühmt wurde, erhält Einblick in den teils aufregenden teils schockierenden Alltag eines Jugendlichen aus Seattle, der in den sprichwörtlichen amerikanischen Traum "hinein wächst": vom Leben auf den Straßen von L.A., teilweise ohne Essen oder Schlafmöglichkeit, zum Mitglied einer der größten Rock 'n' Roll-Bands aller Zeiten.

Im Gegensatz zu der Biografie seines Bandkollegen Slash ist hier auch die deutsche Übersetzung recht gut gelungen, man kann sich also beides "zu Gemüte führen", wobei natürlich die englisch-sprachige Ausgabe Duff's Art am Besten wiedergibt.
Rock'n'Roll pur, absolut zu empfehlen!
