Der kleine Petey unterrichtet ein paar Frösche bzw Kaulquappen im Comics zeichnen. Leider ist das Unterrichten schwieriger als gedacht. Und das Zeichnen noch viel schwerer. Also gibt es viele aufmunternde Worte und nicht alltägliche Wege zum Ziel.
Durchgehend farbige Seiten mit vielen Mini-Comics, welche in der Geschichte versteckt sind. Selbstverständlich dürfen ein paar Zeichenanleitungen nicht fehlen. Toll fand ich, dass das Buch zeigt, dass die Angst vor einer Blamage und die Angst zu scheitern die Kreativität lähmt. Die Kinder heutzutage stehen viel unter Leistungsdruck. Da kommt ein anderer Ansatz witzig daher. Schreibfehler, Comics aus Fotografien und Gedichte, kaputten Actionfiguren und zwielichtigen Themen. Die kreierten Comics sind brutal mit Mord, Todschlag, Gewalt, Kot oder Massenvernichtungen, was ihrem Vater überhaupt nicht gefällt. Doch wenn die Welt nicht in Gefahr ist, wie kann da ein Held seinen Job machen?
Ein witziges und kurzweiliges Dav Pilkey Buch, welches Lust auf mehr macht. Ich hoffe jedenfalls, dass schon bald ein zweiter Teil erscheint.
