    So good!

    One of the best agents in the Republic of America's military is sent to kill its most wanted criminal. In the end, their love ignites a flame strong enough to start a revolution. One of my favorite triologies of all time! Lovable characters, a thrilling plot and the world building is amazing! :) i can’t begin to describe the love i have for this book <3 definitely a must read if you like dystopian books like the hunger games etc…

    WOW!!!

    Los Angeles im Jahr 2013. Eine Seuche verbreitet sich rasend schnell in der Stadt und nicht alle Bewohner können sich den teuren Impfstoff leisten. In dem Buch geht es um zwei Personen: Day und June. Day ist der meist gesuchte Verbrecher der Republik. June wurde ausgebildet um zu Töten sie dient der Republik. Eines Tages wird Junes Bruder bei einem Einsatz getötet. Ein wahres Drama, da June nur noch ihren Bruder hatte, da deren Eltern bei einem Unfall getötet wurden. Deshalb hat June nur noch ein Ziel: den Mörder zu finden!!! Legend“ ist ein geniales Buch! Ich war von der ersten Seite weg gefesselt. So spannend und aufregend! Wahnsinn! Das Buch wird aus der Sicht von June und Day geschildert, dadurch erhält man einen besseren Einblick in die Geschichte. Die Ereignisse überschlagen sich und ich war absolut begeistert. Dystopische Romane sind ja momentan sehr im Trend. „Legend“ ist das ideale Buch für „Tribute von Panem“ Fans! Schade, dass der zweite Teil noch auf sich warten lässt. Am besten Englisch lesen!

    Legend meets The Hunger Games

    OMG !!! What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. Born into an elite family in one of the Republic's wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a prodigy being groomed for success in the Republic's highest military circles. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Day is the country's most wanted criminal. But his motives may not be as malicious as they seem. From very different worlds, June and Day have no reason to cross paths - until the day June's brother, Metias, is murdered and Day becomes the prime suspect. Caught in the ultimate game of cat and mouse, Day is in a race for his family's survival, while June seeks to avenge Metias's death. But in a shocking turn of events, the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together, and the sinister lengths their country will go to keep its secrets. I don't know where to start. All I can say is that this book was interesting and exciting to read from the first page on. I like the changes bewteen June's and Day's perspective. It gave me a better understanding from their both Point of views. I couldn't put down the book when I started it and it totally desserves 5 out of 5 stars. Like this dystopian Story. and the Setting in Los Angeles. Also reminded me a Little bit of "The Hunger Games".

    Tolles Jugendbuch in englischer Sprache

    „Legend“ ist ein geniales Buch! Ich war von der ersten Seite weg gefesselt. So spannend und aufregend! Wahnsinn! Das Buch wird aus der Sicht von June und Day geschildert, dadurch erhält man einen besseren Einblick in die Geschichte. Die Ereignisse überschlagen sich und ich war absolut begeistert. Dystopische Romane sind ja momentan sehr im Trend. „Legend“ ist das ideale Buch für „Tribute von Panem“ Fans! Der zweite Teil ist soeben erschienen!!

    Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

    Better than I expected

    I pretty much enjoyed Legend. The story and writing gripped me from the very beginning and I finished this book within two days, which I didn't expect. I liked that Day and June's chapter were written with different font and finally wasn't the MC (June) a dumb girl! I surprisingly liked every character here and it was refreshing not to have rolling my eyes every few pages. BUT! - The story was really fast-paced and sometimes I wished that the author took more time and told us more about the world, what happend, more about Patriots, maybe some attacks from Patriots, get to know Tessa more,.. There were just the basic and the most important things you need to know for enjoying Legend. - Especially I would appreciate if Marie Lu didn't let Day and June fall in love so quickly; I didn't feel any chemistry and love between them. It was such a pity. Despite these flaws I enjoyed the book. I wasn't amazed but I wasn't disappointed either. If you liked Divergent series, I think you will like this book. I will definitely continue with this series.
