Lovable characters, a thrilling plot and the world building is amazing! :) i can’t begin to describe the love i have for this book <3 definitely a must read if you like dystopian books like the hunger games etc…

OMG !!! What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. But in a shocking turn of events, the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together, and the sinister lengths their country will go to keep its secrets. I don't know where to start. All I can say is that this book was interesting and exciting to read from the first page on. I like the changes bewteen June's and Day's perspective. It gave me a better understanding from their both Point of views. I couldn't put down the book when I started it and it totally desserves 5 out of 5 stars. Like this dystopian Story. and the Setting in Los Angeles. Also reminded me a Little bit of "The Hunger Games".

„Legend“ ist ein geniales Buch! Ich war von der ersten Seite weg gefesselt. So spannend und aufregend! Wahnsinn! Das Buch wird aus der Sicht von June und Day geschildert, dadurch erhält man einen besseren Einblick in die Geschichte. Die Ereignisse überschlagen sich und ich war absolut begeistert. Dystopische Romane sind ja momentan sehr im Trend. „Legend“ ist das ideale Buch für „Tribute von Panem“ Fans! Der zweite Teil ist soeben erschienen!!

After hearing so many good reviews about the "Legend" trilogy by Marie Lu I finally decided to give this series a go and was not disappointed. Day and June are different as can be: June, a prodigy from the rich sectors of the Republic and Day, a rather notorious criminal from the slums wouldn't normally cross paths. But after him killing June's brother she vows to hunt Day down...but is that really all that's to it or might there be something else behind the death of the soldier? I have to admit, that I thought the book to be a little bit slow in the beginning, but its pace picks up as it progresses. The story is really smart and intriguing and, for my taste, ends all too soon. I am looking forward to reading the sequel "Prodigy" and recommend this series to fans of "Divergent" and "The Hunger Games".

Day ist der meist gesuchte Verbrecher der Republik. June wurde ausgebildet um zu Töten sie dient der Republik. Eines Tages wird Junes Bruder bei einem Einsatz getötet. Ein wahres Drama, da June nur noch ihren Bruder hatte, da deren Eltern bei einem Unfall getötet wurden. Deshalb hat June nur noch ein Ziel: den Mörder zu finden!!! Legend“ ist ein geniales Buch!
