After having read "Unfortunately yours" (and having been hooked on Tessa's writing style), this was the second story I got to read by Tessa Bailey. I finished the book in just one day. While it lacked some depth here and there, I still loved the book because it was exactly what I was looking for: an easy read for a weekend to just drift my mind off the crappy work week I just had. I gotta say though for everything that happened, the book wasn't long enough. It could have been 2 parts really - or 500 pages. I would have loved reading more about Piper's character development - because at the beginning she really came off as an 'airhead' and it wasn't explained enough for me why that changed. And one aspect that really pissed me off [maybe a Spoiler!!]: I hated Daniel (and also her mom, for some reason). And after I had felt more sympathetic with Piper, I would have loved him seeing everything she had achieved.

Das Buch ist nicht besonders tiefgründig und gerade deshalb perfekt um es einfach locker zu lesen! Genau das Richtige, wenn man einfach mal abschalten möchte. Das perfekte Buch für den Sommer.
