The historical setting feels authentic, and the mystery keeps you hooked. However, at times, the pacing slows down with too many descriptions. Still, it’s a great read, especially for fans of Sherlock Holmes and strong female detectives. Would definitely recommend to young mystery lovers!

"Enola Holmes: The Case of the Missing Marquess" is a successful start of the series. It was gripping, interesting and easy to read. The plot differed from the plot in the Netflix film version, which I quite liked. The setting was beautifully created and very atmospheric. I just love England in the 18th century! I can't recommend this young adult mystery enough to all readers of 12 years of age and above!

Obwohl das Buch eher kurz ist steckt doch sehr viel drin und ich habe mich zu keinem Zeitpunkt gelangweilt gefühlt. Enola ist eine tolle Protagonistin von der man trotz ihres jungen Alters noch viel mitnehmen kann. Ich hatte viel Spaß beim Lesen und freue mich auf die weiteren Bände.
