Enola Holmes and the Case of the Missing Marquess is an exciting and clever mystery novel set in Victorian England. The story follows Enola, Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister, as she escapes her controlling brothers and investigates the disappearance of a young marquess. Told from Enola’s perspective, the book is full of suspense, adventure, and witty observations about society. I loved Enola’s intelligence, independence, and courage. The historical setting feels authentic, and the mystery keeps you hooked. However, at times, the pacing slows down with too many descriptions. Still, it’s a great read, especially for fans of Sherlock Holmes and strong female detectives. Would definitely recommend to young mystery lovers!

"Enola Holmes: The Case of the Missing Marquess" is a successful start of the series. It was gripping, interesting and easy to read. The plot differed from the plot in the Netflix film version, which I quite liked. The setting was beautifully created and very atmospheric. I just love England in the 18th century! I can't recommend this young adult mystery enough to all readers of 12 years of age and above!
