The articles include the results of an international workshop held in Antalya in November 2016 with the contributions of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Association and European Research and Application Center (AKVAM) of Akdeniz University. In the book, the results of Brexit from the perspectives of Turkey and some member countries are discussed in terms of opportunities and threats regarding European integration and Turkey-EU relations. The book consists of three parts: the factors that lead to Brexit, the possible consequences of Brexit for the European integration process and the future of Turkey-EU relations after Brexit.
Autorenporträt
Erol Esen is Professor of Political Science. He studied at Bonn University in Germany and gained a PhD in Turkey¿EU relations. He is a lecturer at Akdeniz University, Turkey, and has been the head of the EU Research Center. He is working on issues such as European integration, migration, and supra-cultural processes. Duygu ¿ekerölu completed her undergraduate education at Dumlup¿nar University, Turkey. Currently, she is a postgraduate student at the Department of Public Administration. She is also involved in academic translation studies.
