Markus Buki Yayock nació el 6 de mayo de 1978 en el gobierno local de Bondon Kaura del estado de Kaduna. El autor ha publicado numerosos artículos en revistas de prestigio. Ha sido tutor a tiempo parcial en la Universidad Ahmadu Bello de Zaria desde 2005 hasta la fecha y actualmente es el director del Centro NTI en Kakure, estado de Kaduna.
