Alexandre Dumas dit Dumas père est un écrivain français. Il est né en 1802 et mort à Puys, près de Dieppe en 1870. Il est l'auteur des plus gros succès de l'époque romantique tel que « Les trois mousquetaires » ou « La Reine Margot ». On lui prête des négriers littéraires dont Auguste Maquet pour l'écriture de ses livres. Malgré ses succès, il aura des dettes et vendra le château de Monte-Cristo aux enchères. On peut retrouver ses cendres au Panthéon, depuis 2002.
