Ausgerechnet ein Büchereiausweis wird dem Undercoverpolizisten Magnus zum Verhängnis. Er kehrt zurück in seine Heimatstadt um ein paar Drahtzieher der Gang, die er in Berlin nicht stellen konnte, auf eigene Faust nachzujagen um seinen Ruf wiederherzustellen. Das er dabei ausgerechnet auf die Hilfe von seinem Bruder Thore angewiesen ist, passt ihm überhaupt nicht. Thore, der gerade im „Hochzeitsstress“ mit seiner liebsten Jasmin ist, will ihm helfen, aber nur wenn Magnus im Gegenzug dafür, sich mit der Hochzeitsplanerin zusammensetzt. Magnus willigt widerwillig ein ohne zu ahnen, dass Kalinda seine große Liebe Karla ist, die er nie vergessen aber ausgerechnet vor dem Traualtar stehen gelassen hat.
Eins ist klar, Kalinda wird ihm das Leben nicht leichter machen, denn sie ist immer noch sauer, wütend und enttäuscht, auch wenn sie den sturen Kerl nie aus ihrem Kopf verbannen konnte...
Ich bin ein großer Fan der „Harte Kerle“-Reihe und bis auf zwei Bücher, habe ich alle gelesen. Die Autorin schafft mit viel Charme, Witz und Gefühl immer wieder, mich bereits auf den ersten Seiten einzufangen und erst loszulassen, wenn die letzte Seite gelesen ist.
Der Erzählstil von Karin Koenicke ist locker und flüssig, die Story berührt das Herz, auch die Lachmuskeln werden beansprucht und natürlich darf ich mit den Figuren mitfiebern, mitlachen und mich mitfreuen. Gibt es Klischees? Natürlich, die will ich auch unbedingt haben, ist die Geschichte an einigen Stellen überspitzt dargestellt? Aber ja doch, und genau das macht die Story so wunderschön, emotional und fesselnd. Situationen, wie aus dem Leben gegriffen, mit einer Prise Knistern verfeinert und schon entsteht Lesegenuss pur.
Die Charaktere wirken lebendig und vielseitig ausgearbeitet. Kalinda und Magnus stehen zwar im Fokus, aber auch die Freunde rund um das Cafe Woll-Lust kommen nicht zu kurz.
Magnus wirkt erst mal distanziert und abweisend, schnell gibt es einen Verdacht, warum er Kalinda vor dem Altar hat stehen lassen, aber die ganzen Ausmaße haben mich dann doch sehr berührt und ja, ich konnte es zu einem gewissen Grad nachvollziehen. Trotzdem hätte er den Mund aufmachen sollen, aber hey, dann wäre nicht so eine schöne Geschichte dabei herausgekommen.
Kalinda, die wir bereits in vorherigen Bänden schon das eine oder andere Mal treffen durften, hat wieder mal das Herz am rechten Fleck, und ihre „Rachepläne“ sind wirklich charmant und lustig. Ich mochte die junge Frau auf Anhieb und fühlte mich ihr nahe.
Die Dynamik zwischen Magnus und Kalinda ist wirklich gelungen, wirkt echt und authentisch. Ich mochte die Liebesgeschichte sehr gerne lesen.
Übrigens, die Dialoge zu lesen ist ein wahrer Genuss.
Auch für die Schauplatzbeschreibungen nimmt sich die Autorin Zeit und gestaltet diese anschaulich und bildhaft, sodass ich noch besser in die Geschichte finden konnte.
„Harte Kerle heiraten nicht“ ist der vorerst letzte Band der Reihe, kann eigenständig gelesen werden und ich hoffe trotzdem, dass die Autorin sich das noch mal überlegt, denn ich bin noch nicht bereit die Welt rund um die „Harten Kerle“ zu verlassen.
Die Geschichte hat hohen Unterhaltungswert, ist dabei herzlich, witzig und fesselnd, es gibt viel Gefühl und auch einige Überraschungen. Ich mag, dass die Autorin sich immer wieder etwas neues einfallen lässt, ihren Figuren eine ganze Lawine an Stolperfallen in den Weg schiebt und natürlich das Happy End am Ende des Buches.
Ich habe die Geschichte rund um Magnus und Kalinda sehr gerne gelesen und kann die Story auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
Das Cover passt zur Reihe, ich finde es sehr hübsch und es hat mich sofort angesprochen.
Fazit: wunderschöne, lockerleichte, berührende Lovestory mit einer guten Portion Humor. 5 Sterne.
