Das Bestreben auf eine hervorragende Einführung der Marke
ist unverkennbar und auch gelungen.

doch hat man als Hörer den Eindruck, dass -" Remember Tommy" etwas
(von den Fans) vernachlässigt wird. Dazu besteht absolut kein
Grund! Frankie erinnert sich zusammen mit dem Orchester
Sy Oliver an die Zeit mit Tommy Dorsey (für den Sy Oliver
damals die Arrangements schrieb). Frankie singt auf der Höhe
seiner stimmlichen Karriere und das Orchester spielt mit
zeitgemäßer Raffinesse. Viele Titel sind mit String-Section,
-natürlich ohne auch nur ein bisschen "schmalzig" zu sein
Ein sehr gutes Thema- oder Konzept-Album, das nicht die
geringste Vernachlässigung verdient und das Teil einer jeden
Sinatra-Sammlung sein sollte.
