The author says his book will appeal to readers who enjoy action and adventure. The book aims to be as realistic as possible. HE also says that there won't be any "James Bond Devices" to get the soldiers out of difficult situations--- they will have to rely on their instincts, skills and intelligence.

An excerpt from "The Elite"

He hit the button again the engine came to life. Automatic rifle fire was being deployed onto the Recoiless Rifle truck. Butcher swung the 105 around, finding his target then fired. Again a thunderous roar came from the rifle and the barracks exploded into pieces showering both the team and guerrilla forces.

Terry was born and raised in Ohio. After graduating high school in 1964, he entered the military. During his time in the military he saw action in Vietnam and several other paces. Retired from the military Terry worked for a couple major companies before retiring for good. He lives in New Philadelphia with his wife and daughter and he also has a son retired from the military
