Lucia Daramus is a British-Jewish-Romanian writer, classicist, freelance journalist and an artist whose works demonstrate her fascination with archaeology, history of antiquity, and philosophy. Her poetry reflects the deep meaning of life. Her poetry is sometimes sad, sometimes ironic, and playful. Her work has been published in some magazines in Romania, France, Germany, England, Canada, USA, etc. She has published poetry, essays, short stories, and novels in Romanian language and a play in English. She has won Romanian prizes and international prizes like Gasparik (Canadian prize for poetry). Many literary critics in Romania have written about Lucia Daramus in a positive way.
