E. Emory Davis began working for the park as a volunteer in high school and has continued to work there during her summers while earning a degree in linguistic anthropology at Barnard College. Eric Nelsen has served as a historical interpreter for the park since 1992 and as the director of the park's historic Kearney House since 1998. In 2001, he served as project coordinator for a video documentary, A New Deal for the Palisades.
