Autorenporträt
Dr. Deepa Kulkarni received her undergraduate degrees in psychology and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and her general pediatrics residency at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. She founded and is the program director for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship. She is also a physician informaticist for UCLA Health. Her academic interests include graduate medical education, clinical informatics, and quality improvement. Dr. Audrey Kamzan received her undergraduate training at UCLA and completed her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. Her clinical interests lie in quality improvement in the areas of clinical documentation, Kawasaki disease, and the Pediatric Early Warning Score. She is also interested in resident and medical student education; she is a member of the Medical Education team and is a resident advisor. Her educational areas of interest are in evidence-based medicine education, quality improvement education, mock code simulation, and the pediatric hospitalist elective. Dr. Andy Newcomer received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from Temple University. He completed his pediatric residency training at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, followed by a year as chief resident. He currently serves as the Associate Medical Director of Mattel Children's Hospital.
