Jon Dallas is an American motivational speaker, author, and higher education professional with specialties in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, study abroad, international student education, instruction, recruitment and curriculum development. He currently teaches IELTS, TOEFL and SAT at Shenzhen's No.3 High School commissioned by the Shenzhen Education Bureau and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Mr. Dallas is a former Senior Lecturer and Public Speaking Director at Yunnan Minzu University in Kunming, Yunnan where he facilitated collegiate level courses in English Speech and Debate, Journal English, Survey of English Speaking Nations, Intermediate and Advanced Communication Principles, English Composition, Advanced Business English, International Business Negotiation and International Trade Principles. A native English speaker, Mr. Dallas commands varying proficiency in Mandarin, French and Spanish. He has instructed students from the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, Australia, the United Kingdom, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China's majority Han population, and over 25 ethnic minorities in mainland China. Mr. Dallas travels and works on projects throughout Yunnan and Guangdong provinces.
