"Such a comforting and reassuring book for children who are anxious about their first day at nursery. It helps to prepare little ones for that special time." Trish Cooke, author of So Much"Gets to the heart of what it means to belong and why we need to see more male teachers in preschool... Gentle and reassuring, and more than enough to start conversations at home about feelings, empathy and acceptance." Ken Wilson-Max, creator of Astro Girl"A great teacher! A great book!" Michael Rosen, former Children's LaureateOlu is about to start nursery and meet his teacher, Jay... But what will Jay be like? What if he has big sharp teeth like a dinosaur, wonders Olu, or breathes fire like a dragon?! His worries fly away when Jay greets him with a big smile, before reading stories, playing the guitar and making Olu feel right at home. Drawing on first-hand observations from Jamel C. Campbell, a highly respected Early Years consultant, this is a reassuring story about a child's first experience of nursery or preschool for ages 3+.
