Sophie Aubert-Baillot est maître de conférences en langue et littérature latines à l'Université de Grenoble. Sa recherche porte sur la philosophie hellénistique et romaine, la rhétorique ancienne et Cicéron. Elle publiera prochainement sa thèse consacrée à la rhétorique stoïcienne en Grèce et à Rome (Brill). Charles Guérin est professeur de langue et littérature latines à l'Université de Paris Est Créteil et membre de l'Institut universitaire de France. Sa recherche porte sur la rhétorique, l'éloquence et les pratiques judiciaires anciennes. Il est l'auteur de deux volumes consacrés à la notion rhétorique de persona (Vrin, 2009-2011). Sophie Aubert-Baillot, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor in Classics at the University of Grenoble. Her research focuses on Hellenistic and Roman Philosophy, ancient Rhetoric and Cicero. Soon she will publish her dissertation on Stoic Rhetoric in Greece and Rome (Brill). Charles Guérin, Ph.D., is Professor in Classics at the University of Paris Est - Créteil and member of the Institut universitaire de France. His research focuses on rhetoric, eloquence and ancient judiciary practices. He has published two volumes on the rhetorical concept of persona (Vrin, 2009-2011).
