Schon immer haben Komponisten und Musiker manche ihrer besten Werke solchen besonderen Orten gewidmet. Musik - ein immaterielles Weltkulturerbe, gewissermaßen - ist für das Auge nicht sichtbar, aber in den Musikzentren und im Gedächtnis der Hörer klingt sie nach wie ein Echo aus ferner Zeit.
