There was no Internet or social media. And we liked it. (Oh yeah, we also had AIDS, terrorism, crack, racism, homophobia, subway shootings, cocaine, corrupt politicians, pollution, book banning, political correctness, TV preachers, climate change, stranger danger and Can't Stop the Music.)

B Harrison Smith is an acclaimed director, writer and author of such horror cult favorites as The Fields, Death House, Camp Dread, The Special and Where the Scary Things Are. His books include This Time It's Personal, The Making of the Movie Leprechaun: "I Need Me Gold!" and the coming Making the Last Dinosaur. He has a third book in his trilogy that began with This Time It's Personal followed by I Lived the 80s which looks at his post-high school and college journey. Smith's attention to detail has made him an entertainment stand out and his unique trip through the 1980s translates into a fun compendium of the decade and his high school years.
