Autorenporträt

I was born in Vizcaya in 1974. Ever since I learned to read, books have been one of my favorite addictions (besides chocolate, coffee and tobacco) and certainly the healthiest of them all. From a very early age I wanted to be a writer and created short adventure stories that I illustrated myself. I became more serious with age, went on to study psychology and completed a couple of master's degrees. Then I let myself be exploited by all kinds of companies where I just didn't fit in. During one of my periods between jobs I found an ad for a creative writing course and signed up. That course taught me to get out the stories I was carrying around inside of me, to create characters and to organize plot lines... I finished my first novel soon thereafter. I have completed eight self-published novels to date: La red de Caronte, Ojo de gato, and the fantasy trilogy Viajes a Eilean, Zhilan, Suicidios inducidos and Los crímenes del lago. After less than four years of solo flight, thousands of my novels have been downloaded; I have received outstanding comments from readers and bloggers and my stories have been read in fifty countries and in all the continents. On a personal level, I live with my lifetime sweetheart (now finally my husband). He is my greatest supporter and toughest critic in the midst of all this madness. We share our home with our big dog Art and our little cats Rahu, Chelsea and Cyllan. I'm still writing novels despite the fact that they keep bringing in toys and jumping all over the keyboard. I hope you enjoy reading them.
