It is, however, a book written by someone who came to the realization that there had to be more to Christianity than what they were experiencing as a born-again believer. Something was missing!

Yield to Yield is the fruit of seeking God for answers to a full and vibrant Christian life. As a result, Holy Spirit has led the author through decades of Bible study to that end. He learned that it is not enough just to learn what the Bible says, but that God's intent is for His Word to be applied in every area of life in very practical ways. This leads to prosperity in our body, soul, and spirit, and it starts by waiting on Him and by learning to recognize His voice. There are no substitutes or shortcuts.

What sets Yield to Yield apart from many other books is that everything in this book has been successfully lived out. This can only be done to His glory and by His grace. If one person can learn to do this, anyone can.

Dr. Dan Lane has served God as a pastor since 1986, and he is currently the Senior Pastor of Fountain Gate Church in Auburn, Alabama. He also gives direction and counsel to pastors in the southeast. He brings with him years of experience as a self-employed businessman; as principal emeritus of Ballard Christian School; 20 years as hospital chaplain; as President of Monteagle Institute of Theology; and as the host of the radio program Choose Life.He holds a bachelor's degree from Auburn University, a Doctor of Ministry degree from Christian Life School of Theology, and a Doctor of Theology degree from Monteagle Institute of Theology.Following the direction of the Lord, he sold his business in 1986 in order to answer the call to ministry and has been in full-time ministry ever since. Dan has been married to his childhood sweetheart Harriet since 1978, and she has faithfully supported him in ministry over the years. They have three children of their own who they homeschooled, as well as several grandchildren. They also have many other spiritual children they have raised together. Dan's burning passion is to teach and to equip the generations to fulfill their God-given purpose for being born, and in the process to call the Church to embrace and activate its destiny!
