Autorenporträt
Billie Oliver is Associate Head of School of Health and Social Care at the University of the West of England. Billie is also the strategic lead on Integrated Children's Services in the faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Billie's background includes working with children, young people and adults in community and voluntary sector settings. She has been closely connected with the training of Youth& Community Workers, Connexions Personal Advisers and Social Workers. She had a lead role in developing the new Foundation Degree, Working With Children Young People and Families at UWE and teaches on that programme.

Bob Pitt is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Health, Community and Policy Studies at the University of the West of England. Bob is joint programme leader for the Foundation Degree Working with Children, Young People and their Families and teaches across that programme. In addition he teaches social workers and health professionals at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His practitioner background includes working with young people and adults in statutory, community and voluntary settings. He has worked with Billie Oliver as an educator and trainer for community and youth workers, and Connexions Personal Advisers.
