Bonnie MacLachlan is Professor Emeritus of Classical Studies at the University of Western Ontario, USA. Her published volumes include The Age of Grace: Charis in Early Greek Poetry (1993), Virginity Revisited: The Autonomy of the Unpossessed Body, co-edited with Judith Fletcher (2007), Women in Ancient Greece: A Sourcebook (Bloomsbury 2012) and Women in Ancient Rome: A Sourcebook (Bloomsbury 2013).
